I think this paper (found here: www.nature.com/articles/s41467-020-17236-y) will be looked back on as one of the most important papers of the decade. Achieving nearly the same performance as BPTT with LSTMs but in an online and energy efficient manner is an extraordinary accomplishment

Great lecture! Not sure why more people haven't seen or 'Liked' it!

Very facinating. I'm a neuroscience major, but all I feel I've found so far is a bag full of concepts and some easily-forgotten rote memory. Feel like learning some programming languages for the sake of building neural networks and deep learning algorithms would be beneficial here, as I have nowhere near garnered the skillsets necessary for computer-/robotic-engineering. Who knows, maybe one day.
